Join experienced leaders on a trip across the causeway to see the sunrise from the lighthouse on the Brough of Birsay. Along the way, search for plants which are growing, and keep an eye out for seabirds and cetaceans. Sturdy walking boots required, binoculars would be useful.
Come and look for the rare blooms of the Scottish Prirose in one of its last remaining strongholds. We will discuss its ecology and morphology, and explore the opportunities for conservation in the future. Sturdy walking boots required, a hand lens would be useful.
